Description	SUBSTITUTE TEACHER For the 2019-2020 School Year Substitute teachers are those who hold a bachelor degree (or higher) in education Requires Nebraska teaching or substitute certificate Daily rate of pay for full day is $164.00 Daily rate of pay for half day is $82.00 Applicants who do NOT hold a degree in education, should apply for the Certified, Teacher, Local Substitute Employees retiring or changing to a substitute only position are subject to NPERS and 403(b) rules and may need to wait 90 or 180 days before applying for rehire.
