Participates in health office staffing and in the first aid, minor illness care, and screening activities for the general student population.  Provide skilled nursing procedures to students with special health care needs under the direction of the Registered School Nurse.  Position involves travel between buildings and riding a school bus.  Orientation and staff development provided.  Requirement:  Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed to practice in the state of Nebraska, CPR certification, computer skills.

Minimum of 2 years experience recommended.

1:1 Shift Pay: treatment nurses who work a 1:1 shift will receive an additional $1.00 per hour above their normal hourly pay.

Sign-on Bonus and Nursing Bonus: Any treatment nurse who is new to the District will receive a net $500.00 sign-on bonus.  Additionally, all treatment nurses who work their normal schedule during the last pay period of the school year will receive a net $500.00 nursing bonus.

A mandatory orientation is required prior to beginning employment.
