Intervention Specialist Technician (Two Positions Available)

Northwest High School is hiring two full-time ISS
positions in the Reset Center. Applicants should be caring, patient,
flexible, and willing to engage students to build positive relationships. 

Ideal candidates will have experience working in
secondary educational environments, experience with traumatized youth, and
strong communication and organizational skills. 

Training and Certification;

• MANDT Certification
• MTSS-B Training

Duties:

• Supervises students assigned to the Reset Center.                     
• Communicates with teachers in helping to obtain class work while students are assigned to the Reset Center.
• Assists students with completing class work as needed in order for them to return to their regular classes.
• Uses restorative processing to assist students in problem solving and identifying appropriate actions/behaviors for school.
• May be asked to supervise the after-school Reset Center.
• Tracks data on numbers and frequency of Reset Center visits to help inform decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift Schedule-
M-F, 7:45 am-4:15 pm
Hourly Pay Rate-
$19.79
