Piano Accompanist for Lincoln High School

This position is for the piano accompanist for secondary vocal music music classes for the 24-25 school year. The hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily with evening show choir rehearsals on Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Keyboard proficiency is expected including the ability to read an open score, play rehearsal warm-ups and parts, and prepare rehearsal music in digital format. Seeking individuals who are professional and collaborative and who can follow directions, adjust to various performance situations, and enjoys working with high school students. Applicant should prepare two contrasting pieces as part of an audition for the position. Sight reading will be included.
 

Lincoln High School 2024-2025 School Year from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with evening rehearsals on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Select Saturdays required for show choir compeitions. $22.87 per hour; non-contractual 180 day assignment. Technician classification. Reports to Supervisor of Music.
