Location:  Riley Elementary School

Riley Elementary School is seeking a paraeducator to work with students who receive special education services. This position is a part of a collaborative team of educators who work together to provide quality instruction and support services for students in a life skills classroom.

Candidate must be flexible and able to work with a variety of teachers and other school personnel to meet the needs of students. The candidate will support students with academic skills, social skills, and basic life skills as students develop independence in all areas. The position involves taking direction from the Special Education staff as well as school administration to perform a variety of tasks and duties.  

Candidates should demonstrate a compassion for students, are flexible in schedule needs, position students as capable, patient, and positive. In addition, excellent collaboration and communiction skills are essential. Duties could also include supporting student with personal needs.
