The Early Childhood Assistive Technology Specialist for preschool will serve children ages three to five in the district's preschool program and begin in Fall 2024. The AT Specialist will provide: 1) a continuum of low to high technology-based interventions and systems addressing pre-academic, communication, motor, and/or sensory needs of young children; 2) direct and indirect services for young children with disabilities; and 3) collaboration with early childhood staff (including early childhood, early childhood special education and early intervention staff), conduct progress monitoring assessment, coaching/consultation, and evaluation services to determine assistive technology needs. 

 

Nebraska Teacher Certification required. AT and/or AAC experience desired, experience with communication and as an SLP preferred.
