Position Responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities include assisting teachers in carrying out the district's educational program; classroom and lunchroom supervision; aiding a student with special needs - learning and behavioral needs, as well as mental and physical challenges; early childhood programs; and school entrance monitoring and general supervision.

 

Position hours range from 2 to 8 hours/day.  Some positions at Title I locations may require an associates degree or at least 48 semester hours of college credit (equates to 72 quarter system hours).  As an alternative, LPS accepts the completion of Project Para through NDE within 30 days of hire. 

 

Salary Range (depending on position):  $15.96/hour to $18.65/hour
