Technician, TeamMates Mentoring Program – Community Outreach Specialist
The TeamMates Mentoring Program is seeking a team member to promote youth mentoring and engage adult volunteers in our community to mentor youth in our schools.
Candidate must have a passion for supporting youth development and a knowledge of the Lincoln community. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Applicants must also have demonstrated skill in public engagement, record keeping and data analysis. Candidate must have the ability to create strong positive relationships with staff and community stakeholders and work in a highly collaborative environment. A method of reliable transportation is necessary.
Preferred applicant will have knowledge of Lincoln media outlets, Lincoln Public Schools and the Lincoln community, as well as experience in maintaining information on websites, social media posting and preparing newsletters.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, education, or relevant field of study preferred.

Calendar: 260-days / 8 hrs
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some flexibility is needed to work evening and
weekend hours when necessary.
Salary: $21.05 per hour plus a pension and generous leave and benefits package.
